Little Gallery, University of Calgary,Alberta November 2010 Shadows At Work, a sculptural installation by first year MFA graduate student Rory O’Connor who explains that this unique installation "layers the shadow of the viewer, with palm sized silhouettes of workers and landscapes. Though the silhouettes are made out of delicately cut pieces of paper, their shadows are projected larger than life on the surrounding walls and observers. The shadows represent the tenuousness of human interactions and memories, as well as important resources that go ignored or unnoticed."
